Delete Your Account - Muco Hostels
This page explains how to request deletion of your Muco Hostels account and the personal data associated with it. Muco Hostels is operated by Etova Softwares LTD.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to info@naroxe.co.ke from the email address you use to sign in to Muco Hostels. We use this to confirm the request is really from you.
- Use the subject line: Delete my Muco Hostels account
- Include your full name as it appears in the app. If you are a student, add your admission number. If you are a landlord, add the name of the hostel or hostels you list, so we can identify your properties.
We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You do not need to pay anything, and you do not need to give a reason.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
- Your authentication identifier
- Your student profile, including admission number, programme, and year of study
- Your landlord profile, if you have one
- Your room applications and bookings
- Your in-app notifications and saved app settings
What is kept, and for how long

| Hostel listings and their photographs (landlords only) | Retained or reassigned to the property administrator | These describe the property rather than you personally, and other users may have active bookings against them |
Retained payment records are stripped of contact details and kept only as an amount, date, and reference. Nothing retained is used to contact you or to build a profile of you.
If you sign in with Google
Deleting your Muco Hostels account does not delete your Google account, and does not affect it in any way. It only removes the data held by Muco Hostels. You can review which apps have access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
